The name of my prefix Wellicats is from the high school my three children attended (Wellfield school) and the address where we have lived for over twenty years (Wellfield avenue).Wellicats is not run as a business, more of a hobby that sometimes pays for itself.
We are Pam and Keith Charnock and are dedicated in producing quality British shorthairs . By exclusively concentrating on the BSH we can dedicate our thoughts,plans and aspirations on this most beautiful of breeds. From time to time we might have kittens available to go to loving, permanent homes only.
Our aim is for healthy well socialised kittens of excellent type and temperament .Primarily to be true family pets. We are based in the north west of England,just south of preston and are in easy reach of the motorway networks
I have been inundated with people asking for males and females on the active register unless you have a registered prefix with the GCCF,
please don't ask as refusal often offends.

We only use conventional cat litter for our kittens
All our adult cats use THE PURRFURATION TRAYS
Whole Barley is the only litter which works brilliantly with the tray.
It works because it does not absorb, therefore the urine drains through and is collected in the bottom tray. The reason for the tray was to reduce litter costs dramatically and be greener.
Most people can source the barley locally. Riding schools, livery yards, wildlife or rescue centres .
I buy mine from a local farm and pay only £3.00 for a 20kg bag.!
The litter can be flushed down the toilet or composted
The bins measure approx.12 1/2 inches x 15 1/2 inches.
